Installation tips
It is important to ensure that the part is suitable for the required installation, and the technical department’s instructions must be followed at all times. It is the responsibility of the technical department to provide guidelines on the correct installation of the product.
It is advisable to use waterproof cement for installation. Fastening must be ensured with steel nails that are mechanically fixed using the corresponding holes in the profile.
During installation, it is advisable to cover the drainage holes in the profile with tape to prevent them from being covered with cement, which would prevent proper water drainage. Remove the tape before laying the tile.
To ensure proper waterproofing of the installation, it would be advisable to use waterproofing tape that covers the width of the die cut of the piece and is wide enough to overlap with the waterproofing system used on the terrace.
It is advisable to leave a 5 mm gap between the last tile and the profile, which should be filled with an elastic sealant. You can insert a strip of polyethylene foam before applying the sealant.
Connectors must be used to ensure a perfect join between profiles along the entire length of the installation. If necessary, pre-cut pieces are available for creating internal and external angles.
