Product description
The ALUMÁCER® Shadow Gap LED Skirting Board, measuring 12 x 50 mm, is designed to create one of the most sought-after effects in contemporary architecture and interior design: the visual impression of floating elements achieved through a discreet, illuminated shadow gap.
Made of high-quality aluminum with a black finish, this innovative Shadow Gap LED Profile features a slot for LED strip lighting (not included), allowing for uniform and elegant indirect lighting throughout the entire installation.
Its great versatility allows it to be used both as an illuminated skirting board where the wall meets the floor and as an LED profile at wall-ceiling junctions, creating spectacular indirect lighting effects that add depth, a sense of spaciousness, and a high-end minimalist aesthetic.
Unlike conventional skirting boards, the Shadow Gap system visually eliminates the traditional transition between surfaces, creating a floating effect that enhances the architecture of the space and makes lighting a key decorative element. Indirect light can also be used as ambient or accent lighting, improving visual comfort and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Its clean, contemporary design makes it an ideal solution for modern homes, hotels, offices, restaurants, showrooms, and commercial projects where design and lighting play a key role.

Installation tips
1. Align the Shadow Gap LED skirting board correctly in the desired position, depending on whether it will be installed as a skirting board or a ceiling light. It is very important that the mounting material be evenly distributed to maximize contact between the fixture and the surface to which it will be attached. You must properly protect the fixture to prevent it from coming into contact with corrosive substances.
We recommend using LED strips with more than 120 LEDs/meter to avoid the effect of visible light spots.
For optimal and safe performance, it is recommended that the LED strip be installed by a professional electrician.
